Whenever the media reports disastrous news like the recent coronavirus epidemic or other terrible events, I always think about the saying “we are all brothers and sisters”.
It doesn’t matter if a disaster happens on the other side of the world. Its effects reach everywhere. This is why we can no longer have blind policies. There are no barriers or passports or customs duties that may contain a virus or nuclear waste or drought or other. No matter the nationality, color, religion, shape or size, a virus spreads quickly everywhere. As well as pollution or a natural cataclysm.
We must be aware that one’s wellness reaches others as well as malaise. For this reason, the politics of each nation, but also of each person, should begin to have a great vision to create the conditions to live together on this planet with more serenity.
